Putting our youngest to bed tonight I pulled off his socks to find his feet lined with sellotape?
I asked him what that was all about. He rolled his eyes and sighed.
“So I can be spiderman, Daddy!”
Of course. Obvious.

When my son was much smaller, he was obsessed with Spidey, and he spent ages searching for something one day. I asked what he was looking for… “A dead spider, so it can bite me and I can be a spiderman too!” Dead?! So it wouldn’t scare him like the alive ones!
